Athletics with Nuu Chah Nulth Tribal Council

The Indigenous Sport, Physical Activity & Recreation Council – Vancouver Island Region – is pleased to present an athletics sport development camp for Indigenous youth (First Nations, Inuit, Métis) hosted in partnership with Nuu Chah Nulth Tribal Council in the lead up to the annual Tlu-Piich Games!

Facilitated by NCCP Coach Darren Willis (Alberni Track & BC Athletics), this single session sport development camp will give athletes the chance to build skills in track and field events that are to be featured at the Tlu-piich Games in August.

VENUE/LOCATION:

The camp will take place on the traditional territory of the Nuu Chah Nulth people and will be held at the following venue:

Bob Daily Stadium
7127 Vimy Street
Port Alberni BC

GENERAL INFO: 

Participants are suggested to wear loose, comfortable (athletic) clothing and footwear and bring a water bottle.
