The Indigenous Sport, Physical Activity & Recreation Council – Northwest Region – is pleased to present a basketball sport development camp for Indigenous youth (First Nations, Inuit, Métis) hosted in partnership with Gitanmaax Band

Sport development camp is open to youth ages 6-17 and will introduce the sport of basketball through the fun basketball activities, drill and skills. The camp will be delivered by Team BC coach Terry Monture.

9:00 – 10:00 ages 6-10 year olds
10:00 – 11:15 ages 11-12 year olds
11:15 – 12:30 ages 13-18 year olds

3:30 – 6:00 pm MINI BASKETBALL GAMES
VENUE/LOCATION
The camp will take place on the traditional territory of the Gitxsan People and will be held at the following venue

Upper Skeena Recreation Center

GENERAL INFO
All basketball equipment will be provided. Please wear comfortable clothing and gym shoes.
Please bring your own water bottle.
