Basketball with Victoria Native Friendship Centre (Summer Program)

The Indigenous Sport, Physical Activity & Recreation Council – Vancouver Island Region – is pleased to present a basketball sport development camp for Indigenous youth (First Nations, Inuit, Métis) hosted in partnership with Victoria Native Friendship Centre.

This single session sport development camp is open to youth ages 6-17 and will introduce the sport of basketball through fun activities designed to engage and team build. The camp will be delivered by Coach Jeremy Speller.

Open to all Indigenous youth (First Nations, Inuit, Métis) registered in the VNFC summer program.

VENUE/LOCATION: 

The camp will take place on the traditional territory of the Lekwungen people and will be held at the following venue:

GENERAL INFO: 

All basketball equipment will be provided. Please wear comfortable clothing and gym shoes.
Please bring your own water bottle.
