Basketball with Yuułuʔiłʔatḥ First Nation

The Indigenous Sport, Physical Activity & Recreation Council is pleased to present an basketball sport development camp for Indigenous youth (First Nations, Inuit, Métis) hosted in partnership with Yuułuʔiłʔatḥ First Nation.

This one session sport development camp is open to youth ages 6+ and will introduce the sport of basketball for beginners and skill build for athletes who have some experience on the court.

The camp will be delivered by NCCP certified coach Shannon Morrow.

Cowichan Tribes is please to be hosting their 2nd annual Tsetsuw’ Sawa’lum games which will include basketball and takes place the following week.

The camp will take place on the traditional territory of the Yuułuʔiłʔatḥ People and will be held at the following venue:

Cixwatin Centre Gymnasium
700 Wya Road
Ucluelet BC

GENERAL INFO

All basketball equipment will be provided. Please wear comfortable clothing and gym shoes and bring your own water bottle.

A healthy snack will be provided.
