Canoe/Kayak with Hiiye’yu Lelum House of Friendship Summer Program

The Indigenous Sport, Physical Activity & Recreation Council is pleased to present a canoe/kayak sport development camp for Indigenous youth (First Nations, Inuit, Métis) hosted in partnership with Hiiye’yu Lelum House of Friendship’s Summer Program.

This single session sport development camp is open to youth ages 8+ and will introduce the sport of canoe/kayak for both beginners and advanced athletes.

The camp will be delivered by Team BC Coach Peter Amos (Ditidaht)

The camp will take place on the traditional territory of the Lake Cowichan People and will be held at the following venue:
