CanoeKids Instructor Training

Are you interested or involved in canoe racing?  Do you self-identify as First Nation, Métis or Inuit, or work in the Indigenous community? Are you at least fifteen years old?

Come begin your canoe coaching journey with us! This introductory paddling skills development program focuses on the development of flatwater canoe and kayak paddling skills in a safe, fun environment.

This course is a Coaching for Community Sport National Coaching Certification Program recognized course that is required for those delivering summer programs with CanoeKayak BC, and suitable for those wishing to deliver canoe/kayak programs in the community. To register for this course for free (costs covered by ISPARC), please follow the registration link and select the “Other” category when you are asked for payment information.
