Are you an Indigenous athlete age 13 to 18 living in the Fraser Region? Maybe you’re heading to the North American Indigenous Games or the BC Summer Games? OR you just want to push yourself to the next fitness level?! Join us once a month this winter for free fitness testing, an introduction to a strength and conditioning program, and basic dry-land training!
Each session, participants will complete a series of tests that will help indicate their current performance level. The tests will be repeated each session and scores will be recorded to allow participants to see the change in performance level and what skills they can work on. There will be a vertical jump test, a horizontal jump test, a sprint test, the beep test, a strength test, and a flexibility test. Participants will then work through goal setting, performance analysis, and injury prevention workshops to help enhance performance for the next session.
Lunch is provided and registration is FREE!
Open to all Indigenous youth (First Nations, Inuit, Métis) ages 13-18

The camp will take place on the traditional territory of the Coast Salish people and will be held at the following venue:

All equipment will be provided. Please wear comfortable clothing and gym shoes.
