The Indigenous Sport, Physical Activity & Recreation Council – Fraser Region – is pleased to present a Powwow Dance event for Indigenous youth (First Nations, Inuit, Métis) hosted in partnership with FRAFCA (Fraser Region Aboriginal Friendship Center Association). This will be a four-week development class, so please only register if you can commit to four weeks.

This workshop is open to people of all ages, and will introduce Powwow Dancing for beginners. The camp will be delivered by Professional Dancer Shyama-Priya.

The camp will take place on the traditional territory of the Coast Salish people and will be held at the following venue:

Guildford Recreation Centre – Craft Room #1
15105 105 Ave, Surrey, BC V3R 7G8

All equipment will be provided. Please wear comfortable clothing and gym shoes.
Please bring your own water bottle.
