Run Jump Throw Wheel with Victoria Native Friendship Centre

The Indigenous Sport, Physical Activity & Recreation Council – Vancouver Island Region – is pleased to present Run Jump Throw Wheel, an athletics sport development camp for Indigenous youth (First Nations, Inuit, Métis) hosted in partnership with Victoria Native Friendship Centre.

This one-day sport development camp is open to youth ages 5+

Run Jump Throw Wheel (RJTW) is Athletics Canada’s grassroots development program and teaches fundamental movement skills and develops physical literacy using track and field inspired activities and games lead by instructors specifically trained to teach the fundamentals of running, jumping, throwing and wheeling (for children in wheelchairs).

The goal of Run Jump Throw Wheel is to provide a physical activity program that serves as a strong foundation for all sports and assist children in learning to move efficiently so that they grow into adults who will stay active!
