Ski/Snowboard with Namgis First Nation

The Indigenous Sport, Physical Activity & Recreation Council – Vancouver Island Region – is pleased to present a ski/snowboard sport development camp for Indigenous youth (First Nations, Inuit, Métis) hosted in partnership with Namgis First Nation and Mount Cain Alpine Park Society.

This FREE single session sport development camp is open to youth ages 6 to 18 and will introduce the exciting sport of alpine skiing or snowboarding to beginners and enhance skills for those with mountain experience.

9am to 4pm

VENUE/LOCATION

The camps will take place on the traditional territory of the Namgis People and will be held at:

Mount Cain Alpine Park
Port McNeill BC

GENERAL INFO

All ski/snowboard equipment will be supplied however appropriate winter clothing, gloves, hats and footwear is required.

All participants must submit a signed Mount Cain Waiver form upon arrival to the mountain.
