Snowshoeing with North Island Métis Nation
The Indigenous Sport, Physical Activity & Recreation Council – Vancouver Island Region – is pleased to present a ski/snowboard sport development camp for Indigenous youth (First Nations, Inuit, Métis) hosted in partnership with North Island Métis Nation and Mount Washington Alpine Resort.
This FREE single session sport development camp is open to youth ages 6 to 18 and will introduce the exciting sport of snowshoeing to beginners and enhance skills for those with mountain experience.

VENUE/LOCATION
The camps will take place on the traditional territory of the K’omoks People and will be held at:
Mount Washington Alpine Resort
#1 Strathcona Parkway

GENERAL INFO
All snowshoe equipment will be supplied however appropriate winter clothing, gloves, hats and footwear is required.
All participants must submit a signed Mount Washington Waiver form upon arrival to the mountain.
