The Indigenous Sport, Physical Activity & Recreation Council – Fraser Region – is pleased to present a Basketball development camp for Indigenous youth (First Nations, Inuit, Métis) hosted in partnership with the Fraser Valley Bandits Basketball Team!

This development camp is open to youth ages 10-16 and will introduce the sport of basketball for both beginners and advanced athletes. One player from the Fraser Valley Bandits’ professional basketball team will be in attendance to help lead drills and skills clinics, while two members of the Bandits’ coaching staff will be on hand to engage and lead the practice. These special members of the Bandits are excited to engage with youth, fuel a passion for basketball, and help create lasting memories. The youth of this camp will get the chance to practice at the Abbotsford Centre, where the Bandits play their professional games!

The Fraser Valley Bandits are the first professional basketball team in BC since the Vancouver Grizzlies. As a new basketball experience, the Bandits want to offer an inclusive, affordable and entertaining pro sports program that inspires fans, youth, and the sports stars of tomorrow!
