Welcome to the online registration for the NCCP Wrestling Competition Introduction Part A (Sport Coach) Training course hosted by ISPARC and Katzie First Nation

Are you interested in becoming a wrestling coach? Do you self-identify as First Nation, Métis or Inuit, or work in the Indigenous community? Are you at least fifteen years old?

This 8-hour interactive course is all about teaching athletes the basic skills of Wrestling for low-level competitions. It is an introduction to effective coaching, planning practices, and ethical decision making, and has 6 hours of integrated content from the Wrestling CanCoach Level 1 technical component. As there is a practical component to the course, please wear active clothing, bring a waterbottle, and prepare to be moving around throughout the day.

This course is free (funded by the Indigenous Sport, Physical Activity & Recreation Council).
