*Please note: Considering the rapidly changing situation, I·SPARC made the decision March 12, 2020 to suspend all program activities indefinitely in order to do our part in reducing the potential exposure of COVID-19 to participants and communities, especially our most vulnerable community members. As of March 25, 2020, it has also been confirmed that the Halifax 2020 North American Indigenous Games (NAIG) are being postponed to the summer of 2021 (details yet to be announced).

The Team BC selection process is now open for athletes to represent the province in the sport of archery at the 2020 North American Indigenous Games.

Athletes who are selected will compete at the Games, which will be held in Halifax, Nova Scotia from July 12 to 19, 2020.

The NAIG archery competition consists of both male and female divisions in the following categories:

16U = 2004 & later

19U = 2001 & later

*For reasons of safety and maturity, Team BC is seeking athletes born no later than 2007

Athletes interested in Team BC archery for NAIG must submit their application via the Athlete Expression of Interest form (link below). Deadline to apply is March 31, 2020.



A provincial development camp opportunity takes place on March 28 and 29 in Oliver, BC (5856 Cessna Street). The cost is $30 and deadline for registration is March 20, 2020. Male and female Indigenous youth (First Nations, Métis, Inuit) ages 10 through 17 are invited to participate. Please note this is NOT a Team BC selection event for NAIG, however, this event does provide opportunity for athletes to better prepare for the Team BC selection process for NAIG.
