In addition to the Priority Sports identified by the Regional Committees, there are Core Programs that we offer in partnership with various Provincial Sport and Multi-Sport Organizations. We have established these partnerships across mainstream organizations to reduce barriers and increase participation of Indigenous people in sport, recreation and physical activity.

BC Lions Indigenous Youth Program -Football
The BC Lions (CFL) Indigenous Youth Program demonstrates a commitment to the Orange Shirt initiative and building relationships with Indigenous communities.

Every perspective is welcomed and respected with the understanding that learning is most impactful when done symbiotically. It is a collaborative initiative that takes a holistic approach to health. The program acknowledges the importance and interaction of the physical, mental, spiritual, and cultural aspects of Indigenous communities in BC.
