The Distictions-based Food Wellness Tools project is a collaboration between the Indigenous Sport, Physical Activity, & Recreation Council (I·SPARC), Health Canada, the BC Ministry of Health, and Sa̱nala Planning. I·SPARC and the BC Lions have partnered to host an Indigenous Youth Program (IYP), for flag football programs across the Lower Mainland. This program will offer opportunities for four (4) youth teams to be formed from the Fraser and Vancouver Coastal regions (Vancouver, North Vancouver, Surrey, and Chilliwack). Registration for Team BC's Selection Camp is now open. Team BC will participate in the 2024 National Aboriginal Hockey Championships (NAHC), featuring U18 Male and Female Divisions. The Selection Camp will be held April 5-7, 2024 in Prince George, BC.
