Team BC Seeking U19 Male Volleyball Athletes to Represent the Province at the 2017 NAIG

Team BC is seeking U19 Male Volleyball players who are interested in representing the Province at the 2017 NAIG. Male volleyball athletes born 1998-2003 are invited to register for Team BC’s Spring Selection Camp. Registration for the camp will remain open only for the Team BC Male Volleyball Program. This camp will determine the final Team BC NAIG roster members to pursue participation in the Toronto 2017 North American Indigenous Games (NAIG) held in Toronto, Ontario from July 16 to 23, 2017.

To register for the selection camp, please complete the online form. For male athletes who did not attend the first Provincial Camp, the registration fee of $25.00 is required.

The 2017 BC Aboriginal Provincial Volleyball Spring Selection Camp will take place March 17-19, 2017 at the Westbank First Nation Gymnasium 1990 Quail Lane, Westbank, B.C. The schedule for the U19 male athletes are as follows:
Friday, March 17th
12:00 pm-3:00 pm 
Saturday, March 18th
11:00 am-2:30 pm 
Sunday, March 19th
3:00 pm-5:00 pm
Official U19 Male Team BC practice (only if selected)

 

About Team BC NAIG

The Partners Council is responsible for managing the Team BC Program for the NAIG. Through the support and oversight of a Team BC Work Group and Provincial Sport Committees, the Partners Council established a coordinated Team BC program that includes the development of a comprehensive process to select 500 Aboriginal athletes, coaches, managers, chaperones and mission staff to represent British Columbia at the NAIG.  The Partners Council’s series of BC Aboriginal Championships & Camps will serve as the primary talent identification and athlete selection events.
