I·SPARC and the BC Lions have partnered to host an Indigenous Youth Program (IYP), for flag football programs across the Lower Mainland. This program will offer opportunities for four (4) youth teams to be formed from the Fraser and Vancouver Coastal regions (Vancouver, North Vancouver, Port Coquitlam, and Chilliwack).

The program will feature coaching by BC Lions players, a fun tournament and BBQ, Life Skills Workshop, and a VIP BC Lions Game Day experience. This program is being offered to self-identifying Indigenous youth ages 13-16, all genders welcome.

Each of the four teams will have three (3) practices in April, followed by two special events: 1) Life Skills Workshop (Saturday, April 26th) and a one-day Tournament and BBQ on Saturday May 3rd!

Registration will remain open through to April 11th, 2025. Spots are limited to 20 youth per team and a waitlist will be established if registrations exceed spots for a location series.

Please note Chilliwack times are 4:00pm – 5:30pm, Port Coquitlam, Britannia, Norgate times are 3:30pm – 5:00pm.
