The Community Coach Level 1 will be facilitated by Savanna Smith, on behalf of the BC Lacrosse Association and is free to register!

The BC Lacrosse Community Development (CD) Level 1 is the foundational coaching certification for coaching youth in British Columbia, enabling coaches to manage teams from U7 to U13, requiring completion of the CD Clinic (classroom & on-floor) and mandatory online modules like “Making Headway in Sport” via The Locker for “Trained” status. To start, you need an NCCP number, then attend the BCLA’s CD clinic for your discipline (box or field), and finish online requirements to become fully trained, which is a key step for bench/field coaching above U9 in BC.
