Regional Action Team Representatives
September 18, 2023 – I·SPARC is seeking applications for three new Director positions. As a volunteer directed Society, the Indigenous Sport, Physical Activity & Recreation Council (I·SPARC) is seeking individuals who are currently serving as a Core Member of a Regional Action Team and possess an assortment of business skill sets to serve on its board. The three new Directors will fill the following positions:
- One individual who is a citizen or member of a British Columbia First Nation Community
- One individual who is a citizens of the Métis Nation of British Columbia
- One individual who is associated with a British Columbia Aboriginal Friendship Centre or other urban Indigenous organization
Applicants should also reflect the values and priorities of the organization and be responsive to our mission: to build programs and services that positively impact the health and well-being of Indigenous individuals, families, and communities throughout British Columbia. Applications will be reviewed by I·SPARC’s Nominating Committee, with recommendations to be made to the Membership of I·SPARC at an Extraordinary General Meeting to be held in November 2023.
