Nominations open for National Indigenous Coaching Awards

The nomination period for the National Indigenous Coaching Award (NICA) is now open. NICA was relaunched in 2019 by the Aboriginal Sport Circle (ASC) to recognize Indigenous coaches for their outstanding contributidons to sport in Canada. The ASC, in collaboration with the Coaching Association of Canada, established the NICA to recognize the impact Indigenous coaches have made on sport development, from the community level all the way to elite competition. Calling photographers of all ages and abilities

(April 15, 2021) - A unique project to educate Indigenous children and youth about cultural activities, while also encouraging physical activity, has launched through a photography contest.
