The Indigenous Sport, Physical Activity & Recreation Council (I·SPARC) stands with our Indigenous Nations as we mourn the children lost to the Residential School System. We offer love and prayer to the survivors whose lives were forever changed by the experience.

The nomination period for the National Indigenous Coaching Award (NICA) is now open. NICA was relaunched in 2019 by the Aboriginal Sport Circle (ASC) to recognize Indigenous coaches for their outstanding contributidons to sport in Canada. The ASC, in collaboration with the Coaching Association of Canada, established the NICA to recognize the impact Indigenous coaches have made on sport development, from the community level all the way to elite competition.
