Healthy Living Leader Training Sessions
Designed to bring together community leaders and individuals who are passionate about supporting health and wellness, ISPARC delivers a series of annual regionally based Healthy Living Leader Training Sessions.
Workshops offered at the sessions combine leader training for both the Indigenous RunWalk and the Honour Your Health Challenge programs. The sessions are designed to build leadership capacity within Indigenous communities and promote healthy living in key areas such as, but not limited to: physical activity, healthy eating, respecting tobacco and healthy pregnancies. At the conclusion of the two-day Leader Training Sessions, participants will be eligible to apply for a grant of up to $1,000.00 to support the delivery of an Indigenous RunWalk program or to create a healthy living project as part of the Honour Your Health Challenge.
