2018 Player Selection Camp – April 6-8 in Kamloops, BC.  The Indigenous Sport, Physical Activity & Recreation Council (I∙SPARC) is pleased to announce the Player Selection Camp for Team BC’s participation in the 2018 National Aboriginal Hockey Championships (NAHC) to be hosted in Membertou, Nova Scotia from May 6 to 12, 2018.

Player Selection Camp:
Aboriginal male and female hockey players are invited to participate in the 2018 Team BC Player Selection Camp where players will be evaluated over a three-day period by the Team BC coaching staff. The Selection Camp will be held April 6 to 8, 2018 in Kamloops, BC.  Team BC will be represented by one male and one female team each comprising a maximum of 20 bantam/midget aged players at the 2018 NAHC.
Players must meet the following criteria to be eligible for participation in the NAHC:

  • Resident of British Columbia and of Aboriginal ancestry (First Nations, Inuit, Métis)
  • Male: Bantam or Midget age, as of the 2017/18 competitive season (born 2000 to 2004)
  • Female: Bantam or Midget age, as of the 2017/18 competitive season (born 2000 to 2004)
  • Registered or eligible to be registered with BC Hockey. (Players not registered with BC Hockey for 2017/18 season may register via this camp for an additional fee of $40)

Registration:
The Camp Registration Fee is $120 per player and includes a Team BC Selection Camp jersey.  Pre-registration is mandatory as no ‘walk-ins’ will be accepted.  Online registration will open on January 15, 2018 at www.teambcnahc.com.  Registration will close at midnight, Friday, March 23, 2018.
